Ointment is one of the most widely used products in numerous industries due to its easy nature of application and effects. Ointment which is an oil emulsified product requires precision mixing with minimum exposure to the environment. Hence, LITCO understands the various aspects of Ointment processing, with the uniquely designed Jacketed Vessels. Homogenizer and Colloid Mills are important units as they allow further emulsification or breaking down of globules to produce a smoother mixture. Most importantly, LITCO’s Online Vacuum Transfer System allows the users, to execute absolute contactless operation. The Integrated Control systems and PLC operated valves makes the process of transfer material much easier through vacuum, with almost zero chances of contamination.

For Packaging section, Ointment is usually packed in tubes. LITCO offers three variants of Tube Filling Machines, depending upon the required outputs. Automatic and semi-automatic machinery can be adopted as per user’s requirement of efficiency.

The process flow with good Production process layout is very important for improved and efficient production. A linear processing and packaging line is mostly recommended for most cost efficiency. Air Handling Units are of utmost importance in the Technical Area to classify according to GMP Cleanroom requirements. cGMP Cleanroom Grade A to C are normally recommended for Ointment, which is equivalent to ISO 5 to 7.
