Hence, its processing and packaging process requires efficient design and development. There are three basic ingredients in lipstick. We have best Lipstick Manufacturing plant in Kolkata, Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, Assam & all over India.
- Oil- Used in lipstick to provide texture, hardness and appealing shine to the finished product. Eg. Olive oil, Cocoa butter, Petrolatum, Castor oil etc.
- Waxes- Most important ingredient as it adds texture, shape and Integrity. Eg. Beeswax, Candelilla wax, and Carnauba wax
- Preservatives- Used to prevent the lipstick from becoming rancid as it contains mostly organic components.
- Pigments/Fragrance- Adds the necessary varieties of dye, odour and more texture that separates the lipsticks from each other.

WORKING PRINCIPLE OF LIPSTICK MANUFACTURING PLANT
The Wax Phase Kettle at first is used to heat the oil up to a temperature where its texture becomes like a paste. The Wax after heating is added to the Manufacturing Vessel which is a jacketed vessel along with a Central Top Agitator and a bottom emulsifier. The Oil and Wax are mixed together and agitated under heating conditions till a homogeneous mixture is obtained. The Pigment, in the meantime, is grinded in a Roll Mill to get rid of the granules and produce a smooth powder. As per requirement the pigment is sometimes mixed with oil or alcohol in a separate vessel to produce a pigment solvent which is finally added to the Manufacturing Vessel. The solution is emulsified with the help of an In-line Homogenizer or Colloid Mill if required before the final lipstick is obtained. The hot lipstick solution is poured on moulds later to obtain them in desired shapes.
SALIENT FEATURES
- Manufacturing vessels have opening arrangement of top dish hydraulically operated.
- Top/bottom mounted mixer is with arrangement with SS 316 anchor with mirror polish along with PTFE arranged baffles/scrapper.
- High speed homogenizer is provided at bottom arrangement with mechanical seal.
- Choice of various type of anchor design. Open top with top Entry Agitator Cowl disc type or paddle, or Close top with top/bottom entry Agitator Cowl disc type or propeller type stirrer.
- Load Cell for fast & accurate measuring system of Filled Vessel quantity.
- All the Vessels are CGMP standard (paint free construction).
- All contact parts are made of SS 316 grade and non-contact parts SS 304.
- All pipelines are joined with Tri-clover ended Joints assuring safe and smooth transport.
- The gaskets used are of Silicon (food grade) to avoid contamination.
- All pipe, pipe-fittings and valves are SS 304/ SS316 grade as per Customer requirement.
- The In-line Homogenizer or In-line Colloidal Mill provided as per Customer requirement.
- Mechanical Seal is provided at the Stirrer Entry to prevent back-flow and contamination.
- CIP & SIP online are provided within the closed circuit as per Customer’s Requirement.
- VFD for Anchor agitators to vary the RPM as per Recipe and required process.
